How do I know if I'm ready to start a custom home build?
If you have land, a budget in mind, and a vision for how you want to live — you're ready to talk. We'll help you figure out the rest during a free no-pressure consultation.
Do you offer free estimates?
Absolutely! No strings attached, no weird sales pressure — just an honest quote from our friendly team.
How long does a custom home build take?
Most custom homes take 10 to 14 months from signed contract to final walkthrough, depending on size and complexity. We provide a detailed project timeline during the planning phase so you always know what's next.
What services do you offer?
We offer custom home builds, home remodels and additions, commercial construction, and government contracting.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — SEGC holds an unlimited NC General Contractor's license, carries full insurance, and is bonded up to $25 million. We are also SBA 8(a) and HUBZone certified. Your project and your investment are in safe hands.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. We offer manufacturer warranties on materials and a workmanship warranty on all completed projects — because we stand behind what we build, long after the last nail is in.
Do you work on government projects?
Yes. As an SBA 8(a) and HUBZone certified, Native American-owned contractor, SEGC regularly bids and delivers on federal, military, and municipal projects. Contracting officers are welcome to schedule a capability briefing.
Can you work with plans I already have?
Absolutely. If you already have architectural plans from another firm, our team can review them, advise on constructability, and move directly to permitting and construction. Bring what you have and we'll take it from there.
